On 21st November, 1914, The 2nd Dragoon Guards of 1 Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, left their billets at St Jans Cappell and marched to Kemmel before taking over the trenches north-west of Wytschaete. It was a very difficult relief hampered by snow and snipers and John Mann was one of the two men who were killed. |
